A Quiet Rustic Retreat
Welcome to our central Texas rural community in Hays county. Hays Country Oaks 2 is just across the Travis county line, a mere 17 miles from downtown Austin, 5.5 miles outside the city of Buda. Homes range in architectural styles with large parcels of land-some heavily wooded, others with wide open plains. When walking, cycling, or driving through our neighborhood you will often see horses, cows and abundant wildlife. The Hays Country Oaks 2 homeowners association was chartered in 1975 to represent homeowners who seek a relaxed lifestyle in a scenic environment.
